ForViva recognises the importance of respecting your personal privacy and also the need to have in place appropriate safeguards surrounding the processing of personal data.
Each company within ForViva that handles personal data is registered as a Data Controller. Each Data Controller publishes and maintains a privacy notice relevant to the processing that it carries out and each policy can be found on each company’s website.

Why do we need to collect and store personal data?
ForViva will process any information provided in a manner that is compatible with data protection legislation and the basis for holding information will depend on the services we offer to you.
Once you service has been delivered or our agreement ended we will retain information as set out in each Group Members retention schedule.
Will information be shared?
Information may be shared between ForViva Group Members but only where there is a legal basis to do so, for example to fulfil contractual obligations or if it is within out legitimate interest.
We also share information with third parties who provide services to ensure we fulfil out contractual obligations to you. In all cases we will ensure that third parties only use your personal data to provide these services and we make sure they have measures in place to look after your data.
The law gives you a number of rights in relation to your personal data and our use of it. You have the right:
– to ask us not to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes
– to ask to see what personal data we hold about you and to find out about the way that we process the data (and in some circumstances, you can ask us to provide a copy to a third party);
– to ask us to correct or update any personal data which is inaccurate;
– to ask for personal data to be deleted in some (but not all) circumstances where there is no good reason for us to continue to use it;
– to ask us to temporarily stop using your data if you don’t believe that we have a right to use it, or to stop us from using your personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to use it;
– and not to be subject to decisions made solely on the basis of ‘automated processing’ (i.e. the right not to be subject to decisions made solely by algorithms or computers without input from a human) in certain circumstances
